The initial design of your website, including the layout, fonts, colours and graphics, is an important first step. You probably already have some idea of how you would like your website to be, or maybe you need some inspiration. Either way, this stage brings some clarity to the project and, through the use of prototypes, a final design can be agreed upon. This design will include a timescale for the project completion, all the elements of the layout, a style guide including a full colour scheme and an a series of paper or electronic prototypes.
